The 1st Annual Oriental Harbor Wine Festival
Saturday, July 23 Noon
Tickets: $20
Portion of the proceeds to benefit Hope Clinic

Join us for a terrific afternoon on the beautiful Neuse River, in historic Oriental, NC for our 1st Annual Wine Festival at Oriental Harbor Village Center & Marina. The street will be closed off and tents set up - you'll stroll from tent to tent sampling the fine wines from around the world and enjoy great gourmet foods from North Carolina's finest. Then later on in the afternoon, you can listen (or maybe even shag) with North Carolina’s favorite beach music band, Night Cruise.

The Wines
Thanks to Pricilla’s Too Fine Wines at Oriental Harbor, we’ll have over 100 wines from California, the Pacific Northwest, the Pacific Rim and Spain and Argentina. Distributors representing these wineries will be on hand to offer you samples and answer your questions.

We’ll also have wines from some of North Carolina’s best vineyards. The quality and popularity of these wines are increasing all the time. And they are just another reason to love our great state.

The Festival will showcase our brand new private label Oriental Harbor wines. We have teamed with Coyote Creek Vineyard in California to offer a premium quality and value priced Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. With elegant labels featuring old and new photos of Oriental, and a hangtag with our famous dragon and a little history, these wines make a perfect house gift for friends near and far away.

The Food
To complement your sipping, Pluto Richards from Pluto’s Jamaican products, and representatives from Cackalacky condiments and Wind & Willow cheeseball mixes will be here with samples for you to taste. The Gourmet Dragon, our General Store’s own line of spreads, entrees, and desserts to go will also be on hand with their delicious goodies. The Gourmet Dragon’s Pimiento & Cheese Spread and Chicken Pot Pie have already become mealtime favorites for Oriental locals and boaters from all corners of the globe.

And just in case you find a few items you can’t live without (and you know you will!) everything will be available at the Oriental Harbor General Store after the Festival. Click here for a more complete list of the snack and other gourmet foods we’ll be featuring.

The Music
At about 2pm, we’re going to kick it up a few notches with North Carolina’s favorite beach music band, Night Cruise. They’ll be performing on the deck overlooking Oriental Harbor. After an afternoon of sipping, sampling, and learning about new wines and gourmet foods, this will be a perfect way to end your summer day and maybe watch a few red sails into the sunset!

The Rest
Admission to The Wine Festival is $20 each (adults 21 and over, please) and includes wine, gourmet foods, Night Cruise concert, and your very own Festival wine glass. Tickets will be available at the entrance of The Festival.

Finally, and best of all for our Pamlico County neighbors, we will be donating a portion of the Wine Festival proceeds to Hope Clinic of Pamlico County in support of the important work they are doing.
